Wild Orchid Theatre has just launched an exciting new competition seeking short plays, monologues, short stories, poetry…
…Wild Orchid Theatre is staging Wallpapered Tales, a performance of new writing as part of Derby City Council’s “Art in the City” project, with local artist Diana Shepherd. Wild Orchid is currently looking for a selection of pieces to stage – inspired by Diana’s temporary exhibition at 44 Sadler Gate, Derby.
Winning writers will receive a script in hand performance of their work by actors on Saturday 14th August in the shop, as well as promotion by Wild Orchid Theatre and Derby City Council.
The closing date is Monday 9th August. Writers are encouraged to visit the shop and view the artwork. However, if you’re unable to make it along then information about the exhibition can be found on Wild Orchid’s website.
