Scotty Clarke

Scotty Clark‘s formative years as a writer were as a poet-comedian-compere on the cabaret and comedy circuit in the late 80’s early 90s, before transitioning to the commercial side as a promotor-agent. He realised that his poems were his scripts before he realised he was a scriptwriter. He started to realise poems as standalone short comedic films, before studying Screenwriting at Bournemouth University. He produced the award winning film Evidently …John Cooper Clarke. He devised a sitcom set in a Crematorium, and TV serial set in a Homeless Hostel. But it is the Robin Hood Scooter Club which keeps him awake at night. Also, He seeks to consolidate with prose, writing more short stories and writing a crime novel; developed, structured and mapped out, ready to introduce DCI Martha Williamson.
